Justin joined the ministerial staff at Valley in December 2014, a privilege of which the Lord reminds him daily through the love and grace of his colleagues and congregation. He has been married to his dearest friend, Laura, since 2006, and together they have three children: Tallis, Eliana, and Milla. Justin has served in various ministerial positions in congregations around the world, and he is currently pursuing ordination in the Chesapeake Presbytery. Similarly, he has had the opportunity to teach in universities, seminaries, and other institutions both domestically and internationally, and has contributed to various scholarly and lay publications, both as author and editor. He completed his BA at the University of Pennsylvania and has graduate degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary (MDiv), the University of Oxford (MSt; Wolfson College), and Durham University (MA; St. John’s College). In addition to his responsibilities at Valley, he is a doctoral candidate on fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, where he studies Hebrew Bible and Northwest Semitics in the Near Eastern Studies Department.
